Ongoing Training: For one afternoon per month we focus on clinical and staff development and training, and during this time the surgery will be closed. If you require medical assistance during this time please dial NHS 111.
The surgery works closely with West Cumbria Carers and Gillian the support worker - if you would like more information, please ask any member of the surgery team who can help you.
Improving your care
Health services in Furness are introducing 'shared records'. Shared records allow health professionals to share some limited information from your medical records with other health services that provide you with care. For more information please pick up a 'changes to your medical records' leaflet from the surgery. more information is also available at www.cumbria.nhs.uk
Surgeries are held throughout the day from 08:30-18:30 - please call reception for appointments on 01229 402800
The treatment room is open throughout the day from 09:00 - Please contact reception to make an appointment - tel 01229 402800
Appointments are required for the Doctor and the nurse, this can be done by ringing or calling into the surgery- 01229 402800
The surgery is open for GP/Nurse Practitioner clinics at 07:00hrs twice weekly (contact the surgery reception team to make an appointment or register for emis access to enable you to make appointments from the internet)
The practice closes at 6:30pm each week day and is closed week-ends. You can contact NHS 111 WHICH WILL GIVE YOU ACCESS TO OUT OF HOURS.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
The practice closes one afternoon per month for training.
